About

Computer scientist. Hands-on coder. AI specialist.

The short version

I'm Roni — a software developer with a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Mathematics from Ariel University. I write my own code, and I love taking hard problems all the way from idea to a working product.

It started in high school, where I majored in computer science and never stopped. Since then I’ve written code in C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Dart and TypeScript — algorithms, simulations, deep-learning models, Android apps, websites and games — and spent years teaching CS and maths to university students.

Today I specialise in working with AI: I design and write the core logic myself, and use AI coding agents with tests and reviews to build complete products — a Flutter word game, a seven-game multiplayer card platform, an open Hebrew dataset — at a pace that used to need a team.

Available now for a full-time developer role — full-stack, backend or AI-focused.

Coding since high school

5 units of Computer Science, Network Management and Physics — the start of a long love affair with computers.

How I work

Coder first. AI specialist second.

My computer-science background is the foundation; AI is how I multiply it. I treat models and coding agents with the same discipline as any other code — specs, tests, measurement and review.

01

I write the code

Computer science is my foundation, not a shortcut. Algorithms, data structures and clean architecture — I design and write the code myself, and I understand every line that goes to production.

  • C, C++, C#, Java, Python
  • Algorithms & data structures
  • Clean, tested code
02

AI as a force multiplier

I specialise in working with AI coding agents. Specs, tests and CI keep them honest, and my own review keeps the quality — so complete products, like a seven-game multiplayer card platform, are built in weeks.

  • Claude Code & Cursor
  • Spec-driven workflows
  • Tests & CI as guardrails
03

Machine & deep learning

From baselines to CNNs: data preparation, training, honest evaluation and putting the model behind a usable interface. Plus the maths underneath — I studied it, not just imported it.

  • PyTorch & TensorFlow
  • Computer vision
  • Datasets for NLP

How I build with AI agents

  1. 01

    Spec

Clear goal, constraints and acceptance tests

  2. 02

    Code + AI

I write the core logic; AI agents help with the rest

  3. 03

    Tests & CI

Analysis, tests and builds on every push

  4. 04

    Review

I read every diff — taste and judgement stay human

  5. 05

    Deploy

    Automatic deploys, live in minutes

Journey

My journey in code.

From my first programs in high school to building complete products with AI — each step added something I still use every day.

  1. High school

    Where it started

Fell in love with computers early — majored in Computer Science (5 units), plus Network Management and Physics. Writing my first programs is still the most fun I’ve had at a keyboard.

  2. 2017 — 2021

    Military service

Operations room manager — responsibility, teamwork and staying focused under pressure.

  3. Ariel University

    B.Sc. Computer Science & Mathematics

Algorithms, data structures, machine learning, computer vision and serious maths. Projects in drones, satellites, GNSS and deep learning.

  4. 2023 — 2026

Private Tutor · CS & Mathematics

Prepared university and high-school students for demanding exams. Explaining code to others made me a sharper communicator and a cleaner coder.

  5. Freelance

    Web Developer

Designed and built sites and landing pages for business clients — from a martial-arts coach to a restaurant brand.

  6. 2025 — Now

    Developer specialising in AI

Building complete products with AI in my workflow: a Hebrew word game, a real-time multiplayer card platform and an open Hebrew NLP dataset.

FAQ

Questions recruiters ask me.

Do you write the code yourself?

Yes. I’m a Computer Science graduate and I write code by hand every day — C, C++, C#, Java, Python, TypeScript. AI makes me faster, but I design the solution, review every line and own the result.

What does “specialising in AI” mean in practice?

Two things. I build with AI — machine-learning models, computer vision and data for NLP. And I work with AI coding agents in a disciplined way, with specs, tests and CI, so speed never costs quality.

Are you available for work?

Yes — I’m available now for a full-time developer role: full-stack, backend or AI-focused, in a strong team where I can commit long-term.

Why hire a Computer Science & Mathematics graduate?

Because the hard part is rarely the syntax. Mathematics gives me the tools to reason about algorithms, models and edge cases — and to know when an AI answer is wrong.

How fast do you learn new technologies?

This portfolio spans Flutter, React Native, Astro, PyTorch, Solidity and orbital mechanics. I research, build and finish — I don’t wait to be taught.

Frontend or backend?

Both. I like owning a feature from the database and the logic all the way to a smooth, accessible UI.
